Local care, built around real life
Walfinch Newcastle provides personalised home care and companionship across Newcastle, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Gateshead, Ponteland and selected communities across Northumberland. From support at home to getting out and about, our focus is helping people continue living life their way.
A local team, backed by the wider Walfinch network
Walfinch Newcastle is part of the wider Walfinch home care network, and we are locally based and locally managed here in the North East. Our office is at Royal Quays in North Shields, a short drive from many of the communities we support.
Our local team plans and coordinates care across those communities, keeps in touch with carers day to day, and is available to speak with clients and their families about how support is going.
If you would like to talk something through, you are welcome to call the office or ask us to call you back at a time that suits.

Our approach goes beyond completing care tasks. Time to Thrive is about supporting confidence, interests, relationships, wellbeing and connection with the local community.
That might mean encouraging a hobby someone had stepped away from, arranging support to get to a local group, or simply making sure there is time in a visit for a proper conversation.

Our North Shields office sits at Royal Quays, which keeps our team close to the coast, the Tyne and the wider Newcastle area. Being local helps us plan visits sensibly and respond quickly when plans need to change.
We support people across Newcastle upon Tyne, North Tyneside including North Shields, South Tyneside, Gateshead, Ponteland and selected communities across Northumberland such as Ashington, Blyth and Cramlington.
